Scope and contact

Popriva is operated by Lost Hills LLC, doing business as Popriva. Contact [email protected] about cookies, storage or your information.

Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Local storage can persist across visits; session storage is associated with a tab/session. Embedded content can communicate with another provider even if it does not set a cookie. This notice explains how these technologies are used in Popriva.

Authentication and support

Our sign-in system uses cookies with the better-auth prefix to keep you signed in and support authentication/security functions. Names and lifetimes can vary with the sign-in feature and browser security requirements. The popriva_support cookie supports an authenticated support session and has a 30-minute lifetime. The support chat system may also use browser storage while chat is available. Blocking these technologies may prevent sign-in or support chat from working.

Marketing browsing visits

The first-party popriva_browse_visit cookie groups eligible signed-in interactions with the creator chooser into a visit. It has a 30-minute maximum age. Related server records associate visits with your account and campaign and can help select optional guidance or reminders, including after repeated browsing without a selection. Its purpose is separate from the cookies needed to sign in. The related server observations follow a 90-day retention policy, rather than disappearing when the cookie expires.

This browsing record can currently be created without a separate storage-choice tool. Optional email permission does not itself grant browser-storage permission. You can use the browser controls described below or contact [email protected] about objections and applicable rights.

Interface preferences and unsaved profile drafts

The workspace sidebar stores your collapsed/expanded preference in localStorage using a popriva:rail:<userId>:<workspace-kind> key, including a staff-workspace variant. It stays until changed or cleared because no automatic expiry is set for that preference.

Creator profile editing uses sessionStorage keys beginning creatordrop-profile-draft: to recover unsaved fields such as your display name, biography, country, handle, languages, content style/categories and avatar/import selections. A draft is valid for 30 minutes after an edit and is removed on successful save or discard. Closing the browser session or clearing its data can also remove it. An expired draft may remain in browser storage until it is checked or cleared, but is no longer restored by the app.

TikTok embeds and external services

The landing page contains TikTok video players. They can load as you reach the videos and may autoplay muted. Loading connects your browser to TikTok, which receives connection/device information and may use its own storage under its policies. Videos can currently load without a separate Popriva media-choice tool; lazy loading and muting do not stop the connection. TikTok storage names and lifetimes can vary by region, browser and provider settings.

Following a TikTok link or entering Stripe’s payment/onboarding pages also brings you within those providers’ own privacy and storage practices. These external services can process information separately from Popriva. Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant account and transaction processing.

Managing choices now

Browser settings can block or clear cookies and website storage or restrict third-party content. This may affect sign-in, support, saved preferences, restored drafts and embedded playback. Popriva does not currently provide a separate persistent cookie-preferences panel. Clearing browser storage does not delete related server records or unsubscribe you from email.

Change optional email choices in account marketing preferences, use the unsubscribe method in a message or contact [email protected]. For an objection, withdrawal or other applicable storage/privacy right, contact [email protected]. We consider the request according to the law and processing purpose that applies.

Permission, objections and regional rules

Storage rules depend on your region, the purpose and any applicable exemption. Account security, appearance preferences, statistical use and marketing have different purposes. Where permission is required, optional storage or third-party content must wait for that permission; where an exemption requires a way to object, that right must be provided. First-party storage and security settings do not by themselves make a marketing use necessary.

You may exercise any applicable objection, consent-withdrawal, sale/sharing or targeted-advertising right through [email protected]. Changes to email preferences and browser storage affect different functions. We do not treat reading this notice, scrolling a page or registering an account as permission for every optional technology.

Retention and changes

Browser lifetimes are separate from server-data retention. Raw server browsing and marketing observations follow a 90-day policy; genuinely deidentified aggregate statistics follow a 366-day policy. Other related account, support or provider records follow the category-specific periods in the Privacy Policy.

We update this notice when purposes, technologies or available controls change and seek renewed permission when required. Contact [email protected] about our use of storage or a concern.
